There are SO MANY talented digital artists out there! Throughout the past 7 weeks we have explored 7 popular or up and coming artists that are working today.
The awesome thing about digital art is that it is so new that there are new discoveries being made all the time and there is no wrong way to go about making it! I hope you are inspired by these artists to explore your own style and techniques within digital art. It is so much fun and the possibilities are endless!

Capturing, mood, expression, and experience of her subjects within her digital art portraits, Alexis has been doing art since she was about 3 years old. However, she didn’t start doing digital art until she was 16.
His love for photography and photo manipulation began when he received his first point-and-shoot camera when he was 15. His work is truly inspiring and you can see his passion for creating surreal photos with every new project he works on!
Jason works in a wide range of artistic mediums, he is a typographer, digital illustrator, product designer, but he loves to make street art in New York. His work is instantly recognizable by the bright colors and rich blacks, but it is equally recognized by messages of love positivity.
Cute! This is how you would describe today’s digital artist in one word. Lynn Chen, currently a visual development artist for Warner Brothers, has always loved art, but her hobby turned into passion when she went to an art college and used her first Wacom tablet.
Perhaps the most recognizable work of Sean would be his work as a storyboard artist and director for SpongeBob SquarePants. That is his professional work, but if you search for “Sean Charmatz” in google, you’ll likely see his personal work first. Basically, what you’ll find is a bunch of faces on stuff. Literally. It’s like he puts personalities into everything that he sees.
Though Stephen’s digital art is more of a hobby, it doesn’t make it any less entertaining! He has created hundreds of photo mashups that he terms “combophotos”.
Tracie is a little different because she is not only more of a digital illustrator than many of the other artists, but she also works in vector graphics. She is known for her remastered movie posters.
I hope you check all these amazing artists out! Don’t forget to click through the links above to download the worksheets and view the full articles on each of them.
